I just received my copy for the PS3 today. Haven't had a chance to play it yet. To the best of my knowledge, there are less areas to explore, and game focuses more on the different fighting styles. You can also get this for the PS4, but I have no desire to buy the new system as of now.
Here is the link to the game guide which you can "translate" into English:

My review will sound like I hated the movie, but it had more pros than cons. I'll start with bad. (Spoilers)
Gavan the 2nd is sent to Earth to take out two of the kamen riders because they are considered a threat. Really? Doesn't the galactic police do their homework? These are heroes protecting earth. It reminded me of that Batman vs Superman garbage. The govt. considered Batsy a threat and sent Supes to do the dirty work. Gavan the 1st is the new boss and is totally out of character. Did he forget he was half earthling and swore to protect earth? I blame the writers. I love Kenji Ohba, and was disappointed with what they did to his character.
Did I mention that the galactic police also decide to send a giant comet/laser/missile thing to blow up earth? Yep. Screw the humans. We need to wipe out the enemy. Avengers anyone?
On to the good:
The story seemed smoother and made more sense.
The fight scenes were much better.
There were some useless characters, but it didn't feel like total chaos.
Gavan the 2nd, Kamen Rider Wizard and Go Buster Yellow hold the movie together.
It was much better than the last Taisen and Super Sentai 199.
Do I recommend buying the dvd/ Blu-ray? Not really. However, you should tract it down and watch it on the net. (I mean not watch it on the net).
I give it a 7 out of 10.
The 1st Taisen movie- 6/10

"Too powerful." "Too perfect." "Too boring." We see them all the time, these phrases, used to describe our boy, Superman. And now, "too dark." With Man of Steel, anyway, many are feeling that something has been lost or discarded, that the deep and abiding compassion for all sentient life that many believe sets Superman apart from the superhero crowd has been sacrificed in the interest of shock or, maybe even more profane from where my particular biases lead me, to sell razor blades and pancakes.

Bioman is my favorite Sentai series of all time for the following reasons:
The amazing stunts
The human drama
The giant robot has an organic feel to it. It doesn't "feel" like a person in a suit.
Granted, Bioman does have its flaws. Such as:
Re-used stock footage
Cookie cut outs of the actors against a horrible looking blue screen. The flying scenes with George Reeves (1950's), looked more realistic. The modern Super Sentai shows are just as guilty of cutting corners. I understand there is a budget, and this is a kid's show, but I feel like there is no excuse.
In my opinion, the wire work was well done for the time, and the fight scenes are simply amazing. You rarely see the actors in the newer sentai shows pulling off their own stunts. I find this simply disappointing.
Bioman may be overrated, but the human drama is well done, and the characters are not paper thin. I feel their pain and sympathize with them. If you can look past the "outdated" special effects and "80's" drama, this is definitely a show you should be watching. If you can't afford the region 2 DVDs, you can find episodes online. I've found them with English subtitles, as well as dubbed in horrible English. Watch the dubbed version for laughs. It reminds of the Dynaman parody they did in the U.S. back in 1987.
